About April Cook
Born and raised in Oklahoma, except for a period in the 80s when I was at home in New Mexico. Life has never been a cake walk. I've struggled with Arthritis since I was 10 years old. Spent 2 years in and out of a hospital, trying to figure out what was wrong with me. Ended up having my hip fused. This was a tough one for me. This caused me to give up running which was my absolute passion. My favorite classes growing up were history and art. I've tried my hand at ceramics, Painting, Photography. I once believed these were the only forms of art. But I've found that to be false. Life is art, there is an art in all we do.
